I hear it parroted all over nutrition literature, the earth is 70% water, but is it really? It’s certainly not 70% fresh water (unsalted). Fresh water and saltwater are 2 different things! I’m suggesting the earth is 70 percent saltwater, if the number is accurate. It’s so obvious there is way more saltwater than fresh in the world’s fish bowls (oceans, rivers and lakes.)
Indeed, we have freshwater and saltwater fish, right? Each fish-tank must maintain its salinity, either fresh or salt. If we add salt to the freshwater tank, the fish become sick and die. It’s the same with the saltwater fish, if we mess with their tank’s salt content too much, it’s a fairly quick death, I hear.
It’s the same with the human body too! We are 70% saltwater, not fresh. And we don’t want to mess with our body fluids salt content too much, else we get sick and die fairly quick. We are NOT 70% freshwater! It’s saltwater we need!
Unless we have access to ocean or sea, In particular it’s sea salt we want mixed with water of course, salt from the sea or ocean. 2nd best salt would be from an ancient sea bed, such as Redmond or Pink Himalayan, then mix that with water too. We dissolve the salt in clean water (I distill my water typically at home) and then drink it! Ideally, we drink it at the same salinity as our blood (9 grams of sea salt per liter of water). The ocean is alive, just like our own blood and other bodily fluids. I’m suggesting the minerals in sea salt are the exact ones we find in our human body fluids, it’s the perfect mix of minerals we need, plus seawater is alive, or at least it was recently, as we give it life back, when we mix with water again. That’s what I think!
I really like to structure my water too, with my thoughts; as I mix water and sea salt, and again before, and as I drink it. I think gracious, loving and healing thoughts. I think it makes a difference! The saltwater is so intelligent, I suspect it thinks too!
So the next time you hear the earth or the human body is 70% water, make sure and correct them. It’s 70% saltwater, not fresh! Our bodies are extremely intelligent at maintaining salinity in our fluids, intercellular and out. Our body does whatever is necessary to maintain proper salt levels, if we get too low, it pulls salt from our bones! Isn’t it interesting?
It’s not fresh water we should be drinking, but sea saltwater instead. Fresh water dilutes our bodies salinity, so our body rejects it! Next time someone tells you to hydrate with water, please correct them, and suggest we all drink sea saltwater instead.
9 grams of salt per liter of water is our goal. But if you are new to drinking sea saltwater, you will need to start slow. There will be major detoxification symptoms if you are elderly or highly toxic. Start slowly and work up to it. Don’t be afraid to cut back when the detox gets brutal.
